I would like to receive your opinions on Cubs OF'er Brett Jackson for 2013

I think that he's going to get a legit shot at some point this year. I'm not sure how much he has left to prove in the minors. He'll take at bats from DeJesus or someone else in the event of injury or trade.

That said, I'm not sure he's "much" of a prospect, so I'd not have high expectations.

How is that rule idiotic Hammer? I think it makes perfect sense. If we didn't have that rule someone might have 6 catchers in this league already. I have never been in a league that didn't make you draft a starting lineup before reserves and I don't think I would want to.

If there are 5 reserves and someone wants six catchers with five on the bench, so what? Whats the difference if i grab the six catchers before my lasts starting pitcher? As long as i have a legal lineup at the end of the draft why does it matter how i got there?

Jc in my nl only auction we have four reserves and yea you can get a reserve before a starter. It allows me ro continue to toss out players i want regardless if my startings spots at that position are filled.

Not trying to be obtuse here but i havent heard a good reason to have it in its current form. If there were no reserves of course its different.

Heaven help me, I'm starting to get sucked in. The Cubs reworked his swing. He looks good in the spring. He's athletic. They have very few other options. I think he's absolutely worth a pick at this point. I'm not convinced I'd pay $5+ for him in an NL-only league yet, but I'm starting to think someone will.
