I'm totally confused on Hammer's picks:

22 whatever Nate Eovaldi
24 whatever Jacob Turner

I have it as him drafting Volquez in round 22 and Tabata in 24. The original problem was that Volquez was an illegal pick because he needed an outfielder so I assume that's why he drafted Tabata so technically Tabata becomes the 22nd pick and Volquez the 24th pick. How the hell do Eovaldi and Turner become his 22nd and 24th picks? If he's ditching his original picks they are again illegal cause he needed an outfielder.

He was skipped in the 25th round so I think we should make the Eovaldi pick his 25th round and Turner is available. He's obviously jumped shipped and stopped paying attention and making this more confusing for others.

I would suggest Volquez is available...that kind of puts some that may want the freaking WHIP TORTURER at a disadvantage...yes?
Maybe Volquez should be (sequestered ) :0 moved to the FA pool for availability after the draft?

Yes I made his picks legal. I was waiting to hear back from him before I made it known. Yes Volquez is available then.

Sorry guys. I still dont understand the ridiculous rule of having to fill kut my starters before my rwserves but i thought we did away with that rule. Its idiotic.

I don't think we should. I don't think it's a dumb rule at all. Does your local auction allow you to draft any 23 players you like? Isn't this draft at least supposed to be somewhat reflective of reality so we can use it for our own prep?

We especially need to keep the rule if we do away with the reserve rounds, as has also been proposed.

Regarding filling the active roster before drafting reserves - I vote for maintaining the draft mandate as is.

I've had him in my Minors in a 15 team 5X5 and had to activate him last year. I will not be keeping him and will not be re-drafting him in our 2 round Minors draft in March. He seems to be heading in the wrong direction. Ave going down and K's going up. I don't see him making much of an impact this year and would much rather have Soler and Almora.
