Willingham falling that far is criminal. I almost took him over Laroche like 35 picks ago.

Willingham had a monster year in 2012. I'm a little concerned by the Twins lack of top of the order table setters and Mourneau is still a question mark, so I can see where people are leery of him. I do not expect Willingham to be on the Twins team come the end of July. He seems like a great guy, that the clubhouse likes, but he is the only viable trade bait the Twins have for playoff teams, unless Mourneau switches a light on and becomes who he was prior to concussions.

Markakis just reminds me of the guy who never was. I remember owning him the year after his big break out and he gave me 600 of the emptiest at bats I've ever seen. In a part time role last year Morales launched 21 homers and he never got going, though he looked fully recovered from his injury. Willingham dropped 35homers with 110+ RBI last year. Talent wise I just don't think
arkakis has it in him to put up numbers like both the other two have in the past.

Yeah I hear ya. I just prefer Markakis at that point for a BA floor. We saw what seems to be a little power growth from him as well. Morales I don't trust him that high in the draft. Like Willingham there too though but just a touch behind on my list given my preference for a better contact rate at that slot. Willingham was a huge player on my local league last year and helped me pull down a title.

That was me last year. I spent most of the year at #20 or #19 then finally in late August I climbed to around #17.

Tks Steve - This year seems a lot more intense and difficult than years past as it's like I'm scrambling on every pick because my targets are gone by the time it rolls to me.....crazy stuff.
Initially I had Sale or Gallardo penciled in for this round.
