Logan Webb - Rust or Panic Time?

Logan Webb seems to have been kicked around this spring. I can’t tell if it’s panic time (it has certainly been an issue across multiple starts) or should be dismissed as small sample size / Spring Training. As a sinker baller, it’s more about locating than velo for him. Maybe that’s rust?

Our keepers are due soon. I have Webb at a great price and am inclined to stand pat. But would love to hear if someone has some insight here.

Greg Maddux was known for not pitching to his full capability during spring training because he didn't want to give hitters too much of a preview of what they were going to see from him during the regular season. So, when a good veteran pitcher has a bad spring I tend to think they may just be getting their work in without having much concern for the results. I would put my trust in the previous track record here and expect improvement during the regular season.

Now I wonder if I can snag him for a great price in our upcoming auction?
