Altuve. Do you still keep him in a 12 team mixed 5x5?

I'm torn. Plenty of DL slots to stash him until his return. But thumbs worry me. But I've 8 keeper slots. Which is 96 players. Which seems about right for even a late-arriving Altuve.

So I'm torn.

I assume you have him at a fairly valued contract, so.....definitely not.

I traded for him at $26 this off season in our AL only 5s5 12 teamer. I was happy to have him. Now I am sadly dropping him.

My concern with protecting him in the "top 96" would be that the thumb issue depresses his power when he returns. He'll likely get a half season in.

Next season he's 34, SB are a question with him. With no contracts he's a keeper for next season but his current and future stock is decreasing for sure.

I would DL him and hope he comes back stronger and sooner than expected.
