  • Best cheap AL pitcher for 2013

I've got to decide between a few cheapish pitchers for my last couple keeper spots in my 10-team AL-only. Who do you like the best out of this bunch, assuming prices and contracts are about equal? ($5/A)

    AJ Griffin
    Steve Johnson
    Alexi Ogando
    Alex Cobb
    Garrett Richards

Feel free to add anyone not listed you think has a good chance of being this year what these guys were in 2012. Not that that was great or anything, but worth rostering and likely to be undrafted or a late-rounder/reserve.

I like Robbie Ross of Texas that is not on your list.

I go with Griffin, Johnson, Ross, Ogando.

Ogando and Cobb are the two I like the most. What is the deal with Ogando anyway? Is he going to start? Cobb has nice peripherals and should be good for 150 IP.

AJ Griffin is in a good park and he is a solid $5 choice also. Any of those three imo.
Find that level above your head and help you reach it.

Gotta go with Ogando, who was already very successful as a starter.

indications are Ogando will be starting. He's got my vote.
It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.
