Posted this in the Sports Bar, but probably more relevant here.

Very simple 5x5 Roto Vintage draft starting. If you haven't done a Vintage Draft before, this is the one to jump in on.
We haven't done anything this simple before, so we are all starting with a blank slate.
IF interested, post here, or in the sign up thread: http://forum.rotojunkiefix.com/showt...729#post113729
---------------------
Format: pick any single year stats for any available player (career stats do not count)
e.g. Babe Ruth OF 1921 or Pedro Martinez P 2000
Handicap: One player per letter of the alphabet. If you pick Stan Musial, you can't pick Pedro Martinez (unless you use a Wild Card letter on a second M ... there will be 2 Wild Cards). All letters must be selected except X.
Requirements: None ... this is pretty simple stuff. All the data, players stats, spreadsheets etc are provided.
Duration: Normally you will average 1 pick per day, or per day and a half. So as long as you can check in a few times per day, staying up with things will be easy. We use a 12 hour clock, and suspend the clock over the weekend, so it's a casual pace (not like mock drafts) ... but of course we prefer it if people do not abuse the clock and pick promptly (within a few hours if possible).
Worth giving it a crack if you haven't tried before.
