Did he die or something? Lose his job? I got him with pick 310 in a 15-team mock. About 50 picks after Brandon Moss.

He hit 241/341/429 last year, with 17 HR, 55 runs and 59 RBI. He even added 4 steals. His walk rate was up 2% from 2011, but so was his K rate. His park sucks and the Rays never put a great lineup around him, but it's not like he isn't talented. I know he hit 209/301/330 against lefties, but if the Rays keep him away from them, isn't he a guy who could hit .250-20-70 in 450 ABs?

Or is he just another lefty hitter who gets brutalized by the shift and won't ever hit for AVG again?

He had a couple of injuries this last year. I expect a bounce back season.

He was only popular to a couple of us in my 12 AL only 5x5. I am happy to have him for $10 for the next two years.
I doubt I would get the kind of offer I would need to move him, but his salary is low enough that I am fine with that. I think your numbers are reasonable, I might even add in 10 sbs this coming year. He is actually a player I would target if I to buy low if I didn't already own him.

I've been waiting two years for the Rays to put together an offense the way they have their pitching staff but they don't seem to be trying. It seems the far easier task, especially with all the pitching they have to offer.

I would expect with health, a nice bounce-back in the power dept. He def had a power collapse following the injury but he's going to be a nice cheap, power source and if he gets on a roll, he's fun to own.

Joyce certainly showed his May/June hotness (great call btw, and thanks for the advice on the Towers of Power podcast telling us to pick him up, cause I did and this is awesome), but do you think we'll be in for another disappointing second half from him?

I think he has already earned his $10 as a keeper. The rest is gravy. I like gravy. I hope there is a lot of gravy.

Nice. He is in the last year of his contract for me. I hope to get him under value at auction next year.
