Yep. With an ERA over 5.00 he might not even be worth the $2. Not a bad $1 pitcher who you roster to play matchups but not the type of player you want to tie up a roster spot over. Ross and Griffin have upside so they are worth it.

I'm with you on Ross. Moreland is borderline for me. Is 15HR-50 RBI-.260 worth $10? That's what he did in 2010 and 2011. What do you see Pestano and McGee doing? Just being cheap closers-in-waiting, or will they contribute as MR?

1) I couldn't remember who he was when I read your list.
2) He has not played in the majors.
3) Most other owners won't know who he is, pending spring training.
4) I think you can get him for much less, for the reasons above.

If he starts the season in the minors, he may fall to dollar days, when you can go to 2 or 3 or even a 'bidding war' up to 7 or 8 and get him as a stud keeper or trade bait.

$15 is just too much to risk. With OF so deep, and with him unlikely to be up in April, he may not come out until late. Save some money for him.

Myers will have to have a great spring to make the team out of camp. Not because he isn't ready but because the Royals will be cautious (or cheap) and hold him back if he isn't destroying the competition. If you can hold him as a minor leaguer, I suggest you do. If not I would still consider keeping him at $15. He should hit for average with very good power, and has a star quality about him. In a league with high inflation 15 doesn't seem that ridiculous to me.
