    FORT MYERS, Fla. – Arodys Vizcaino became the first of the Braves’ three “young guns” to get action in spring training, and he had the Braves staff and coaches buzzing about it.

    Vizcaino fired fastballs ranging from 94-97 mph in two scoreless innings in his debut against the Red Sox. He retired six of the seven batters he faced, allowing only an infield hit.

    Looks like electing not to have TJ was the right decision.

    It still scares me, I was looking to trade for him. But that's just part of the game I suppose...

      I'm as big of a Braves homer as anyone, but the ligament issue still scares me. My uneducated guess is still that he goes under the knife at some point in the next few years.

        Still a good long term investment, though one need to be very wary of elbow trouble at a young age and the likely TJ procedure
