Jason Castro has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and is likely to be out until at least September.
Rough news for the budding Castro. He also has a torn meniscus and will undergo surgery Friday to repair both. The 23-year-old can pretty much be ruled out for the entire 2011 season, leaving Humberto Quintero and J.R. Towles in a pitiful platoon behind the plate. Houston may want to make a last-minute upgrade via the trading block.
