Nah. He'll back up Ellis at 2b and serve as a backup outfielder. Hopefully he won't see much time defensively at second, as that's not his forte from what I've heard.

I'd heard the same. I'm really curious what they're going to do with Dee Gordon. It seems really early to label him toast.

KRIS-TV in Corpus Christi, Tex., reported late Friday night the Phillies had agreed to terms with right-hander Mike Adams on a contract. The television station cited an Adams family member as its source and said the deal is for three years, $18 million.

I'm still guessing Detroit...they simply can't afford to go into the season with a rookie closer and expect to contend for the playoffs.

Brutal off season for my only leagues so far. In the NL I lost $4 Bonifacio in the AL I lost a $3 Revere and $6 McCarthy.

In the same AL league I have d'Arnaud as a minor leaguer so I can only assume that he will definitely be included in the trade for Dickey.

I have/had Thole at $4 in my NL only league. Granted he's not that great and I had better options so I might not have kept him but he was cheap and probably could have used him in a deal. I hate this off season.
