He'll be an interesting HOF case. I'm of the mind that we should discount those who have great regular season stats but horrible postseason stats. I also think we should consider postseason production as a way to boost the resumes of those who may not be hall worth soley based on regular season numbers. Because of the injuries, it will be hard for Beltran to get the counting stats needed to make him hall worthy compared to his contemporaries, but a couple of more good years can get him close enough that his amazing postseason performances should put him over the edge.
He's already in the 300/300 club with over 2000 hits, so naysayers have to at least concede he's getting close.
