  • scrounging for a last few wins

I have a small shot at winning one of my leagues if I can get a couple more wins than the first place team. Of the following, who would you pick up? I have room for five or six of them.

Patrick Corbin vs Chacin vs COL
    Dice-K vs Kuroda at NYY
Hector Santiago vs Kluber, Gavin Floyd vs Huff at CLE
Travis Wood vs Norris vs HOU
Homer Bailey vs Wainwright at STL
David Huff vs Floyd vs CWS
Jhoulys Chacin vs Corbin at COL
Lucas Harrell vs Volstad, Bud Norris vs Wood at CHC
Travis Blackley vs Harrison vs TEX
Tyler Cloyd vs Gonzalez at WAS
Andrew Werner vs Gallardo at MIL
Blake Beavan vs Weaver vs LAA
Ztio vs Capuano, Vogelsong vs Kershaw at LAD
Carlos Villanueva vs Deduno vs MIN
In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

Bailey got cut a week ago by someone scrambling for saves, and Vogelsong has an ERA over 6 for August and September.

Bailey, Corbin, Zito... Vogelsong and Villanueva have been getting smoked, so I'll pass on them.
