What, if anything, do you guys think of Michael Saunders going forward? Big kid who will turn 26 after the season is over, and he's been pretty hot over the last month. He's showing a nice HR-SB combo this year and is hitting .328-15-5-14-4 in his last 17 games (missed 6 games due to injury). Seems like a pretty good 20-20 candidate next year, though he may be a BA risk. I may be well off-base, but I kinda like Saunders in 2013.

14.3% HR/FB rate after a season of 10 pts lower. Ballpark issues make me bearish on him getting to 20 HRs, but 20 SB definitely doable.Comment

Went yard again tonight. In his last 22 games (including his 1-for-1 so far tonight), he's 23-for-77 (.299) with 7 HR, 16 RBI, 5/6 SB/SBA, and 16 R. Six of those HRs have been at home.
He's certainly making me think awfully hard about taking a chance on keeping him next year.Comment
