Preseason was one of the top pitching prospects in the game. He had a very disappointing start to the year, struggling with his velocity, command, and his own ego. Slid from rhd's pre-season #9 to mid-season #28 prospect.
Now he seems to have put most everything together, and he is expected to be a September callup.
44 Ks and just 4 BBs in 31.1 IP in August. Big remaining concern is HR rate; my understanding is that he leaves his FB up too often.
