Good move for both sides. Borchering is still slow developing, but has the ceiling to make himself a worthy dart. Johnson just wasn't a partof the re-build and instantly upgrades Arizona's 3B short term situation. Matt Davidson still needs more time in the minors.

Ha! I hope so. We'll see.

Not sure if people in NL-only leagues find it worth taking a shot on Astros, but Brett Wallace has been called up.

            indeed

Astros recalled INF Brett Wallace from Oklahoma City.
Wallace will receive at-bats at both first and third, according to the team. The 25-year-old registered a cool .333/.415/.583 batting line in 11 games with Houston last month and is hitting .300/.379/.506 with 16 home runs, 57 RBI and an .885 OPS in 86 games with Oklahoma City. He's immediately ownable in all NL-only leagues. Because of his status as a former top prospect and Houston's willingness to finally give him an everyday job, mixed league owners should at least monitor his progress. Jul. 29 - 5:55 pm et

Added him in a deep mixed early this week. Probably don't need him, if I do ran into some bad injury problems, but hoping to develop some interesting offseason trade bait.
