    pickup advice

    12-team mixed, 5x5 using AVG. All of the hitting categories are fairly tight. Salaries go up $5 every year, but only six keepers and mine are probably Howard $3, Craig $3, Kubel $4, Cespedes $2, Castro $9 and unknown sixth (maybe McDonald $1, maybe one of the following)

    should I cut any of these guys to try to pick up Travis Snider or Chris Young (OF)? My current outfield is AGordon, Kubel, Craig, Cespedes, Frazier/De Aza, with Stanton on DL.

    In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway.     Hammel won't be back with enough time to help you, and I can't imagine keeping him over any of these other guys. Punt him to grab either Snider or Young.
