AL Only Deal for Wil Myers

I'm rebuilding for next year, 10 team, AL Only, we keep 7 players and are allowed to keep those in the minor leagues after August 15th as a minor leaguer as well, which is very nice.

There's not much out there, lots of sellers, and the buyers dont have much, so Myers is a great piece.

Thoughts on my trading of Pujols 50, Milone 3 for Myers 4 (if he's a minor leaguer, i can keep him for free) and 1st and 2nd round minor league draft picks next year (which are of decent value, but nothing crazy).

I should say I've got a solid core of possible keepers as is:

Hardy 7
Middlebrooks 7
Jennings 12
Viciedo 11
Asdrubal 17

Jarrod Parker 4
Milone 3
Matt Moore 4

and I have Hultzen, Jacob Turner and Anthony Gose as minor leaguers as well.

So, it might've been too good to be true.

The deal shakes down like this now:

Pujols 50, Jarrod Parker 4 and Milone 3 for Myers and a 2nd rounder.

I like it. Obviously you are keeping Moore so Parker/Milone are spare parts. There is lots of time left before the auction so make sure you have an 8th guy in case one of yours gets traded to the NL. Heaven forbid it's Myers (Myers for J.Upton is floating around out there).
