    trade McCutcheon?

    Need some quick feedback, though I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do this. Sitting in first place with a 4.5 point lead at the break. Pretty deep 10 team NL league.

    I've engineered the following deal: Carlos Gonzalez and Jason Kubel for McCutcheon and Joe Newenhuis. The way I see it, as good as McCutcheon has been for me, he and CarGon are pretty much even the rest of the way. So it comes down to Kubel for Newenhuis which is a no brainer, and I've been looking for a way to dump Newenhuis anyway since he's pretty much sucked since May. Gotta do this, right?

    edited: that's KIRK Newenhuis, not Joe! And no way I'll ever spell the last name right.

    In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.
