which of these 50 have the best shot of getting some run prior to September call-ups.
After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”

Anything can happen, but the Rockies GM says Arenado's not coming up this year: http://www.denverpost.com/rockies/ci...rosa-shut-down
In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.

          From RotoWorld:

Rockies GM Dan O'Dowd said Wednesday that top prospect Nolan Arenado will not be promoted this year.
There was some thought that Arenado, a promising 21-year-old third baseman, would climb to the big leagues at some point in June. But there are now apparently questions about his mental makeup. "Arenado's maturity level has not yet reached his talent level," said O'Dowd. "He will probably finish the season at Double-A, unless there are injuries or other circumstances.

Nick Franklin could get the call if he picks it up at AAA. Brendan Ryan won't be holding him back.

Fernandez went from unranked in the preseason list to #8 four months later. Impressive.

Goldstein had him 2nd in the Marlins' system and 80th overall

yep. But I was just looking at BA for that comment. Goldstein has some explaining to do for putting Gary Brown at 18 back in the preseason. That ranking made me feel ok about trading Hultzen instead of Brown. Ouch.

                    yea, take a number

He's showing signs of turning it around of late but he looks like Marcus Sanders 2.0 right now

I think Brown is doing great. Lets not forget that he was in High-A last year and this is his second full yeari n the minors. He started out a bit slow, but his slash numbers have gotten better every month:

                      April - .227/.333/.284
                      May - .258/.318/.317
                      June - .294/.364/.413
                      July - .455/.467/.727

I just picked him up from an owner in my league who had just been looking at his year to date numbers and thought he was underperforming. I was very glad to get him. The opportunity to buy low might not be around for much longer.
