Cashner's last pitch was a beautiful 101 mph fastball to K Chris Young. Now he's leaving the game and favoring his elbow. Damn.

EDIT:
Andrew Cashner has been diagnosed with a strained latissimus dorsi muscle.
Cashner suffered the injury while throwing a warm-up pitch in the third inning of Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks. It's good news for the Padres because his elbow and shoulder were not compromised. But the young fireballer is sure to need at least three weeks of rest. Whew...I'm just happy that it wasn't his arm. That man throw some easy cheese...looks like he's just tossing the ball up there and the gun registers 98."Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake."
