Rizzo or Bauer

I have the option to snag one of these highly touted prospects with this week's transactions.

Who would you rather have for the next 3 years?

I'm not a huge Bauer guy. I see a lot of 5.2 inning, 9 K, 4 walk, 3 ER starts. I don't think Rizzo is the 2nd coming of Joey Votto either, but a .280-25 guy at a cheap price is a nice asset.

I would take either one. But between the two I grab Rizzo.

I actually think I'd go with Bauer. While he may have control issues, he will be pitching in some of the best pitching parks (minus coors) in the NL west. I like Rizzo but I'd like to see him hit the ball well in the bigs and not just in AAA (albeit having to start your career in Petco could skew any stats).

I have Rizzo and turned down an offer of Bauer. That being said, I am loaded with prospect pitching.

Stats being equivalent (whatever that means) a SP is harder to find than a 1B.
