    Been offered three trades:

    Chad Billingsley 7, Rodney 10, Parker 1 for Ethier, Alvarez
    Starling 5 for Lincecum
    Broxton 5, Teheran 5 for Lincecum, Porcello

    The last one seems pretty reasonable. Broxton is looking like he might be a real closer again and Teheran is at least close to the majors... trading for Starling is a really long-term plan. I actually really like Broxton at 5 and Porcello isn't showing anything to make it look like he's going to be decent anytime soon, so if you think the second trade is at all worth thinking about the third one must be pretty good. Are closers really all that relevant in a 6x6 though? I'm assuming that Broxton at 5 is good if Storen was worth keeping at 9.

    Hell, I think that trade might help you for this year.
    In the best of times, our days are numbered, anyway. And it would be a crime against Nature for any generation to take the world crisis so solemnly that it put off enjoying those things for which we were presumably designed in the first place, and which the gravest statesmen and the hoarsest politicians hope to make available to all men in the end: I mean the opportunity to do good work, to fall in love, to enjoy friends, to sit under trees, to read, to hit a ball and bounce the baby.
