AL - Trade a closer?

I have Johnson and Capps.

I am in 5th with 22.5 batting points and 31.5 pitching. My hitting is coming around but I know I will need a bat or a starter (W and K) at some point. I planned to build a lead in saves then trade Johnson. Is it too soon?

I'd hold a little longer, though it's hard to say without knowing what the other teams have for potential saves (ex Bailey or Farnsworth on the DL). I'd also probably trade Capps. I don't know if he'll see as many save opps as Johnson. Is this a keeper league and how many years and salary invloved?

I'd take a pulse for Capps right now...prime guy to be dealt at the deadline to another club and lose his job.

Capps is not a keeper, Johnson is 13 for next year only.

Who takes over in Minny? Perkins?

Perkins would be my bet, but it is Minnesota...so that's certainly not guaranteed.
