I would imagine that Tony Campana (L) would get a decent amount of the playing time, with Joe Mather (R) and Reed Johnson (R) also in the mix (until they think Brett Jackson is ready).

With 24 SB last year in only 143 AB, he'd be a great source of cheap speed.

Wow. That's almost less than nothing, since Boston DFA'ed Bowden several days ago. I would guess that the PTBNL is based on how Byrd does in Boston...
