League is 5x5, onbase%/total bases/runs/rbi/sb innings/wins/saves/whip/era, 12 teams, american league only.



Side A gives $3 doug fister (option decision next season), $2 dan valencia

Side B gives robinson cano $25 (final year of extended contract)

My knee jerk was no. But I am not so sure.

Does the team getting Valencia have to keep him? Both Cano and Valencia suffer huge losses when you replace HRs with OBP. I would rather have Fister at $3 than Cano, especially when you replace Ks with IP.

No trading of auction dollar$, I was just illustrating the loss of budget.

I have edited op to include two other 'different' cats than normal.

I guess Side A because of the $3 Fister, although I think it's close as Cano is pretty damn good for TB/R/RBI, even if the use of OBP rather than AVG lowers his value.
