Should I even consider this offer?

I was offered Capps $11 (2yrs) for my Kipnis at $10 (2yrs)

I'm not sure on Kipnis for this year and Capps at $11 is ok for our league and there is only Rivera in the draft. 3 teams in our league have no closer. I've got Bailey at $11, so I don't really need him, but I'm considering this only because Capps is without question the closer and could rebound without Nathan there and Bailey is a injury risk. He was decent a few years ago. He might make for a very good trading chip once the season gets going.

Consider this or just tell him no?

No way. I really like Kipnis and Capps is a time bomb. I'd be looking to acquire Perkins at auction.

I think Kipnis will be pretty mediocre this year but Capps is most definitely a time bomb. I'd find another target that's better than Capps.

I'd stay with Kipnis. He'll give you 15/15 with the potential for 20/20.

If that M Young is Michael, I kep him over Kipnis easily if I am playing for this year.

Yeh, Kipnis is not cheap. He's still a value. He'd go for around $15 in our draft because he's playing everyday and has good potential and could become a $20 player this year. I think his ceiling is probably around $25 if he can become a 20/20 guy with a decent obp. I saw where his manager compared him potentially to a Pedroia. I wouldn't mind that, but the Indians line up is not that of the Redsox.
