Ok, so with this freeze list:

What should my strategy be? I have finished just out of the money the past few years and would like to break back through.

Today I calculated inflation (13.54%) and adjusted all the remaining values. I also split the remaining players into 3 tiers. The top players available at each position are:

C: Napoli / Santana / Mauer / Suzuki / Salty / Ianetta / Doumit
1B: Miggy / Pujols / AGon / Fielder / Tex / Konerko / Young / Pena / Dunn
2B: Cano / Kinsler / Kipnis / Beckham / Giavotella
3B: Bautista / Longoria / ARod / Youk / EE / Valencia
SS: Andrus / ARam / Jeter / YEscobar / SRod
OF: Hamilton / Cruz / CC / Choo / Upton / Ichiro / Gardner / Crisp / Markakis
SP: Hernandez / Haren / CC / Price / Lester / CJ / Romero / Hellboy / Jimenez / Darvish / Scherzer / Kuroda
RP: Rivera / Valverde / Soria / Sale / League / Nathan / Balfour / Perez

With 3B so thin I expect to have 2 x 1B. I have the most faith in AGon, Tex and Konerko who I think may fly under the radar with shiny new Pujols and Fielder in the mix. Most of the league grew up 2h away from Toronto so Bautista will not come cheap. That said, I am going to pay for some studs, so maybe he's the guy. Is Youk the best target there?

In the OF I like Cruz and Gardner/Crisp. Not much power available in the OF so maybe I need to target someone like Cano or Kinsler. I'm starting to think I need to get a few studs in the IF based on who's available.

As for SP I probably need 2 of the ones listed (I like Haren and Kuroda) and one of the closers listed.

Will Encarnacion come cheap with the Tranna contingent bidding? I'd sure be tempted to probe at his cost before putting Youk out there.

I'd throw Teix out early too, and if bidding stalls on him, go get him.

I'd avoid Crisp - last year he stayed healthy, but that the three previous were not pretty.

I got EE for $6 two years ago and kept him last year. I imagine he will be undervalued. Sexy picks like Lowrie, Lind, Johnson, Rasmus and Santos were all kept.

Good call on Tex. Better for him to come out before Pujols/Prince/Miggy are off the board.

Will proceed with caution on Crisp.
