        The horror!

This should be fun hearing from all those who had pre-determined his guilt.

MLB has issued a statement saying it "vehemently disagrees" with the decision.

Haudricourt says the appeal went Braun's way not because of the test result, but because of a technicality with the testing process. Independent arbitrator Shyam Das ruled in favor of the technicality, giving the reigning NL MVP the win by a 2-1 margin. Braun is the first player to have a suspension successfully overtuned through the appeals process.

"The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master - that's all."

Overturned on a technicality, and Braun is off crowing that his reputation is cleared? Is he HiGH? You don't make a big deal about claiming victory on this, you simply say "I'm glad it's behind me, let's get on with baseball" and shut the $^%& up.

I had a feeling the last couple of weeks that a late decision was good for Braun. I am curious about the details. Usually I hate the PED talk because i don't think they are as huge a factor as they are sometimes made out to be. But this time a player actually won, so that's news of a different type to me.

You know there will be some yahoos who'll say that because Bud is Jewish and Braun is half-Jewish and plays for Bud's old team, that somehow that means Bud interfered and got the decision he wanted (huh? Bud go against management?).
