Our first cutdown is to 10 ML/4 keepers - projecting the following: Smoak, Peralta, Joyce, Rasmus, Arencibia, Garcia, Romero, Strasburg, Storen, Capps, Alonso, Harper, Trout, Tallion

I've been offered Smoak for Jarrod Parker. However, I don't think I'd be able to keep Parker given my four minors. If I did, he wouldn't replace Harper or Trout on my final cut.

If you know you're not going to keep Parker, then don't trade for him. I wouldn't keep him over Trout and Harper either.

Agree +1. I'm not a big Smoak fan, but I'd sure not deal him at 5 if I didn't get someone I wanted to keep in return.
