  • Does the Prince come to Arlington?

Prince Fielder has visited the Rangers. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slu...angers-fielder

With the Angels signing Pujols, the Rangers are under pressure. Darvish is one possibility, but Fielder would certainly fit as well. Last year Napoli, Michael Young and Moreland split the time. Obviously the DH slot is also available for all of above.

Prince is likely Plan B if the Rangers can't sign Darvish. Clearly the Rangers have some money to spend, but doubtful they can afford both.

My $34 Prince in Texas? Oh, please, please, please. I'll have $95 spent on 1B and my UT position full if that happens, but I'll be happy.
I'm just here for the baseball.

I was surprised to read this yesterday. I didn't think any team (Jays) could land both. I guess they want to sign Prince quickly if they can't get Darvish signed by Wed.

The Nats have much more to spend than the Rangers, I would suspect given the new TV deal the Lerners are into. This smacks of classic Boras price driving. I'm curious to see if Cashman allows Prince to "visit" now that the Yanks are short a DH
