          5.16 Joe Mauer C, Minnesota

Former MVP, 3 time batting champ, and just about to turn 29. None of his "injuries" last year were of the long term variety, so I think that he comes back strong. He was embarrassed, his teammates were embarrassed, and the fans turned on him, all things that make me think that this is going to be a banner year.

Of course, he could get "bilateral leg weakness", which is a fancy way to say "I'm a *****", or late season Pneumonia, which most people would shake off as a bad cold, but I think he's back for 150 strong games.

Hoping he is over his injuries and comes back to form.

                5.19 - David Ortiz - DH - Bos

Might be too early to take a DH only guy but I always end up short on power in these drafts and since I missed out on the big boppers at first base Ortiz can give me that production.

                        • 6.05 Yu Darvish, P, Texas

As ITC said a while back, go big or go home...I think that Darvish is the real deal. And while it may take him a while to acclimate, he's with a good club.
