my guess is that the return is marginal, for pitchers, for rotisserie purposes. i'd have to do the analysis myself, but my gut tells me that the true return on pitching value for a given catcher is marginal. if you can demonstrate otherwise i'm happy to agree, but my guess is that framing of catchers has only a small effect on K, WHIP, ERA, or other pitching categories.

My quick back-of-the-envelope calculations say that if Molina played 120 games for the Rays, it would be an improvement of about 0.15 on their pitchers' ERA.
