My pitching is just getting silly. After trading Tabata for Aaron Hill and Verlander (there were more players but that was the gist of it) I also snagged Kuroda off waivers. Too bad my offense looks like the Padres I'll probably need to dump a pitcher for another bench bat, I'm just not sure who should go. Probably Capps, but I want to see Nathan close a couple games first. In all honesty, I might need to trade Verlander for a bat.

I think half my roster has changed since the last post. Britton/Gonzo/Arroyo put up 3W 0.00 ERA 1.03 WHIP today and Fuentes picked up the save.

I grabbed him today. I like to carry 2 catchers on my team so I can have someone going every night. Napoli is my 1B so right now I have 3 C-eligible players and I'll keep an eye on them.

Some interesting trades by two owners in my league, one was vetoed and the other has not be processed yet.

The first deal: McCann, Halladay, Cliff Lee, Bell and Brian Wilson for Teixeira, Dunn and Longoria.

The second deal, not processed yet: McCann and Hallady for Teixiera, Longoria and Ian Kennedy.

Not sure what's going on, very odd.

I've changed up my roster a bit, was able to pick up Beltran and Sizemore (if it were 2005 I'd have a great outfield).

Matt Thornton was just dropped, thoughts on him? Probably worth a waiver claim (I'm 11th). Also, Edwin Jackson and Kyle Drabek are on waivers. Who would drop to pick those guys up, if I should?

Thornton has mostly had bad luck. He might have lost Ozzie's confidence which is an actual problem, but I think he's worth stashing because his upside is really high. I would absolutely toss Arroyo and Webb for EJax and Drabek.

EJax cleared waivers and I picked him up for Webb.

That second trade was also vetoed down and now almost immediately another trade has been accepted: Halladay and McCann for Teixeira and Longoria. I think something extremely fishy is going on. I decided to vote against this trade and I never do that.

Here is my current roster. I nabbed Andrus and Francisco off of waivers. However, I have slipped to 11th, 41 points out of first. I only have 3 points in each of HR/R/RBI/AVG.Last year I was worried about my power #s and ended up leading the league.

Pretty much the usual story for my team. Killing saves and pitching in general, having trouble managing the best closers, and offense is struggling other than steals.

I just dropped Santos for Madson and Maybin for Raburn. So now Santos, Storen, and Rauch are still on the FA list and I don't really have room for them. It looks like maybe I should drop JZimm for a closer or a bat but I'm holding off until his start against the Mets.

I also added Bay in hopes of catching a couple of hot weeks. I am waiting on Soto and Butler to really heat up and thinking I might have to stop waiting soon. I haven't been able to deal any pitching for hitting so far.
