The Sox took the option for one more year of Scutaro (and rightly so). What will happen with Lowrie? Fill in all over the infield a la Figgins 2009? Safety net if Youk continues to have back issues or Scutaro gets old quick? I have him in a sign year at $5 (12-team AL only) -- I'll keep, but not extend him. I love the position flexibility he gives (we play 1-game in-season) and am hoping for 300 AB.

he got off to a huge start, but quickly petered out. I don't have a lot of faith for much, but he may be able to give you 300 decent ABs. -
I was surprised they did this considering how bad Scutaro looked in the field at times. Lowrie just has trouble staying healthy but I'd like to see him get a chance elsewhere. No chance they'd trade him within the division but he's exactly what the Rays need.Comment
