CWS Closer---2012

I know it's early, but for those of us in rebuild mode, what is the play?

Santos--seems to have hit a little bump in the road, will he right the ship?
Thornton-- always great numbers in set-up role, no so much when closing.....and he's 34 years old.
Sale-- great job closing in 2010, lost the job in 2011. He's the guy I'm most interested in opinion on. He lost the role pretty quickly--always a danger with closers, more so closers under Guillen---so is he a set-up guy, a closer or do they make him a starter in 2012?

I like Sale long term, but it's almost impossible to predict closers long term. There have been plenty of high profile closers lose the gig.

Couldn't this have gone in the closers thread?
