  • Michael Morse: So which one is correct?

CBS reports he had an MRI after being hit on the forearm and it was negative, but then an x-ray today showed a hairline fracture.

Rotoworld is reporting the opposite. They say he had an x-ray that showed a hairline fracture, but then an MRI showed he didn't have a fracture.

It is my belief that Rotoworld is correct, because doesn't the x-ray always come before the MRI?

They need to wait for swelling to come down before an MRI so have to believe the X-Ray happened immediately and then the MRI came later.

Unless the Nationals are stupid enough to do an MRI while there is swelling, then do an x-ray after that, which simply doesn't make sense.

Conclusion: we are no closer to figuring this out.
