    Ummm....

    .264
    36 R (on pace for 72)
11 HR (on pace for 22)
47 RBI (on pace for 95)
13 SB (on pace for 26)

The Royals really hit the jackpot with him and Melky this season. Unreal!

He had a NICE start in April (4 HR, 19 RBI, 3 SB, 316/362/551). However, there are some concerns.

    May: 4 HR, 12 RBI, 3 SB, 233/275/388
June: 2 HR, 15 RBI, 7 SB 245/290/383 - the SBs are nice.

Through June last year (260 ABs compared to 299 this year), he had 33 R, 8 HR, 41 RBI, 7 SB and a slash line of 265/310/415. He didn't keep that pace up through the end of the season, hitting only 5 HR, 24 RBI, 1 SB, 227/275/340 and scoring 19 runs in 190 AB. He was traded (twice, correct?) last year, and switched leagues. Will he keep up the pace this year, or fade like he did last yaer? Some of the luster to his shine is removed when you don't factor in April's numbers. I think when looking at May and June's numbers we will continue to see a fade for the remainder of the season.

Nonetheless, not bad production for space fillers on KC's roster.
