Yeah, for Oakland you'd like to get at least one prospect back that is more premium than what they got. Waldichuk is pretty much a consensus top prospect these days but I'd want someone a little better for someone like Montas. Medina has been ranked in the Yanks top 10 for several years and Sears has done very well in several spot starts for the Yanks this year. These could turn into 2 SPs and at least maybe a swingman. It's quantity versus quality but I think it could work out for both sides. But, yeah, I agree the Yanks did well. Got a stud starter and didnt have to give up Volpe or Peraza or even Jasson and those pitchers were iffy to make the Yanks long-term rotation anyway.
