Roberts pulled a Melvin....Kershaw out after 7 with the perfecto intact.
If I whisper my wicked marching orders into the ether with no regard to where or how they may bear fruit, I am blameless should a broken spirit carry those orders out upon the innocent, for it was not my hand that took the action merely my lips which let slip their darkest wish. ~Daniel Devereaux 2011

I think pulling Kershaw was the right move. Still, what an enormous first start of the year! Kershaw's slider is a thing of beauty and the Twins couldn't touch the thing all day.

Also, Bellinger with a double and a HR so maybe he's not quite one foot in the grave yet.

              He struck out again today
His K rate is at 35% this year, which is 8% higher than last year when he hit .165
He homered off Dereck Rodriguez (Pudge's kid) who gave up almost 2 HR/9 in AAA last year and was last usable in MLB in 2018
