Playing around in B-Ref's starting pitching results and looking into wins by looking at a few areas:
These were the overall results for those categories, but the table below sorts for all SP with at least 120 IP. Poor Brandon Woodruff:

- Wins in Games Started (Wgs)
- "Cheap wins" - winning games in non-quality starts (Wchp)
- Tough losses - losing decision in a quality start (Ltuf)
- Pitcher left game with in-line for a win, but bullpen blew it (Wlst)
- Run Support while in the game (RS/IP)
