Maybe. Mahle's splits suggest he would be a beast if he got traded, so that is certainly something I'd hope for if I had shares. I'm just not sure why the Reds would trade a really good pitcher. Heck, I'm not sure why any team would trade a really good pitcher, unless it is a cost cutting move.

It's the Reds. Off the top of my head:
-Raisel Iglesias traded for practically nothing.
-Wade Miley released and picked up by the Cubs for free.

I'm sure there more examples.

Yep. Which is why the Mets acquired Bassitt instead. Would still love to see them get Mahle, perhaps dealing Carrasco, but I think it’s very unlikely.
