Max Muncy (HS SS) to Oakland at #25. Would have been very confusing if the Dodgers had taken him.

Dodgers take Madison Brunz (sp?) at #29. Never heard of him and he's not in BA's top 500 draft prospects.
Edit: Because I didnt hear his name correctly, I couldnt find him at first. His name is Maddux Bruns and he's #49 on BA's list. He seems to be a hi upside/hi-risk pick.Last edited by rhd; 07-11-2021, 09:57 PM.

Thoughts:
- Tigers fans who follow the draft were pretty disappointed with their pick. The Tigers are almost devoid of high level talent at the MI positions in the minors, and are pretty well-stocked with pitching.
- OTOH, the Red Sox, drafting 4, has Law's #1 rated prospect and top SS on the board fall into their lap. And he should be ready right about the time Bogaerts contract expires.
- I've concluded the Orioles scouting motto is "You hang 'em, we'll bang 'em".
- The Mets MUST, and I mean MUST, draft someone named Harold today.
- Both Bachman and Rocker are probably very, very happy they didn't go #8.
- A buddy of mine who scouts in the SE says the Mariners got a huge value at 12 with Harry Ford.
- I like Frelick to the Brewers a lot, but man, they had to think about taking Watson there. Never thought he'd be available at 15, and the Marlins were probably really happy.
- McGreevy to the Cards is about as stereotypical of a Cards pick that I can remember.
-I'm just here for the baseball.

*Note, if we are talking about "facebook" fans, then sure. They are probably confused why their teams didn't trade up too. You can't fix stupid, right?Last edited by Ken; 07-12-2021, 09:22 AM.

They took 20 pitchers with their 20 draft picks. 19 of them college pitchers.
