  • Drop before start in Coors?

An “average” starting pitcher who is struggling a bit in an “only” league.
He has a two start week but a tough week including a start at Coors.
    No bench.
You’re in contention. Need to protect ratios but of course Ks needed too.

Would you drop him or ride it out?

This Rockies team is kind of toofless, especially without Story. While the Rockies home splits are solid, I think I'd ride it out unless you can pick up something comparable on waivers.

      Thanks revo.

Fwiw the pitcher is Dane Dunning.

Might be able to flip him for Loaisiga, Boyd, or Turnbull. Can’t say if any would be an upgrade.

BTW, here are Dunning's home/road splits this season:

        Home: 2.33 ERA, 1.074 WHIP, 6.6 K/BB ratio (27 IP)
        Away: 7.97 ERA, 1.918 WHIP, 1.6 K/BB ratio (20 IP)

I know! That’s what freaks me out about the start in Coors. Would you hold or flip for Loaisiga?

It's tough to pick up a bullpenner in a weekly lineup league. Not sure. I think I grit my teeth and ride with Dunning and hope he doesn't get clobbered.
