My team in revo's league is 0-19 so far today, so I got that going for me. OBP league, so the lack of walks is just a little extra kick in the nuts.

Yes, of course, he is on 4 out of 5 of my teams. The other is AL only, lol.

Is there any league (with NL players) in any alternate reality in which Freeman would not be on Cavebird’s teams?

That'd be like the "Mirror, Mirror" episode from the Star Trek series.
I'm just here for the baseball.

Wait...would that make the Braves and Red Sox the "good guys" in that universe? And would I actually root "for" them?

Back to the topic, my hitters started 1-18 today. They're now up to 5-34.

Yes, I have not owned Freddie in many mixed leagues before when I got outbid; it was just he was cheap in most of them last year because of his COVID bout, so I kept him this year more or less everywhere--I did not bid on him at all this year. But remember, the Mets fans are the bad ones, not the Braves fans. And my handle is not capitalized. And Red Sox fans are better than Yankee fans. Remember that the NYC centric world is not good, it's bad. And I love cities and would love NYC in the summer. I'd still root against their baseball teams. They are like the ESL 12. They think that throwing lots of money at everything is good.

That is called the non-NYC universe. But hey, Neil Diamond wrote Kentucky Woman thinking that was the most exotic thing ever because he hadn't left NYC, or possibly Brooklyn, at that point in his life. And he's brilliant.

I haven’t lived in NYC since the 80s. I just adore the teams I grew up with and passionately root against their rivals. Recently I was describing it to someone and said “I’d even root against Boston teams in the LLWS”.

And I grew up in Athens, GA, going to Braves games as a kid. More or less the same thing; I haven't lived near Atlanta since the end of 2002.

EDIT: But Neil Diamond is still awesome.

One of my teams is 0-18 so far tonight. And this is a first place team that is still up by 10.5 points. Go figure.
