How to use Ohtani?

How would you use Ohtani in AL only leagues that have no bench? You can move him from pitcher to hitter if needed, but then need to FAAB or activate replacements. Bottom line: is he more valuable as a pitcher or as a hitter? Would you buy him at auction and slot as a pitcher as a way to get an “extra” hitter? Other thoughts?

Depends on whether the Angels are serious about hitting him 5 days a week. If you believe them, I think he's more valuable as a hitter.
