Another player who had a subpar '20, what's concerning about Altuve is that his speed appears to be gone. In his last two seasons, consisting of 692 ABs, he has just 8 SBs. He was on his same 6 SB pace in '20 as he had in '19. The projectors think he still has something there, all predicting 11-14 SBs, but I don't see how that's reflective of his last two seasons. Seems more like wishful thinking.

He can still hit, and will probably hit for some power, but I would discount the steals to single digits.

I like him a lot this year, given his current price. I don't think the speed comes all the way back, but Dusty isn't going to stop him if he wants to run, and he somehow finished in the 89th percentile in sprint speed last year.

Yeah, 1J was off. Even 14 SBs seems like a lot for him now. ATC projecting 8 seems more like it.
