16 team H2H, using OBA and holds

Anthony Santander (+4 option years) for Liam Hendricks (+1 option)

    This is the starting point.

    Ronald Acuņa Atl OF K
    Christian Yelich Mil OF K
    Carlos Carrasco Cle SP,RP K
    Charlie Morton TB SP 6
    Lance Lynn Tex SP 7
    Wander Franco TB SS 11
    Jo Adell LAA OF 12
    Josh Hader Mil RP 13
    Brandon Lowe TB 1B,2B,OF 14
    Alex Kiriloff OF 15
    Luis Robert CWS OF 16
    Carson Kelly Ari C 18
    Anthony Santander Bal OF 25

Exercising options, I spent rounds 10 and 17 on Leody Taveras and Jeimer Candelario. That leaves picks in rounds 4, 5, 8, 9, and 19+.

    The lineup
    C - Carson Kelly
    1B -
    2B - Brandon Lowe 1B, 2B, OF
    3B - Jiemer Candelario 1B, 3B
    SS -
    MI -
    CI -
    OF - Ronald Acuņa
    OF - Christian Yelich
    OF - Luis Robert
    OF - Leody Taveras
    Util -

SP - Carlos Carrasco SP, RP
    SP - Charlie Morton
    SP - Lance Lynn
    SP -
    RP - Josh Hader
    RP - Liam Hendricks
    RP -
    P - x3

    BN - Wander Franco
    BN - Jo Adell
    BN - Alex Kiriloff
    BN - x5

I have two fairly early picks (say #125-200) to get SP and/or an IF bat. I have a mid-round pick and many later round picks for bench and bullpen.

How does the team look for a fairly deep league?

Given it is a holds league, that dings Hendricks value, and as a general rule, I prefer hitter keepers over closers, so given the extra years of control, I take Santander.

Is it saves+holds? Or 6 categories where saves is a whole category and holds is a whole category? I really like Hendriks if saves is its own thing. Santander seems OK but he had a .315 OBP last year. Nice to hjave as a cheap last outfielder, but you seem to be collecting cheap guys and I'm not sure you have the picks to fill in the rest of the elite guys around them. Or maybe you GOT Hendriks?

I am out of touch...I didn't realize some folks use saves and holds as distinct categories.

In your league and context, I'd play for the win and take Hendriks. Different situation, even in your league - say, less good OF keepers, more of a rebuilding team, deep pitching depth - and I'd prefer Santander. So there's a good chance this is a win-win.
I'm just here for the baseball.

Yes, saves and holds are separate. Yes, got Hendricks

            It's sort of like a 6x6, but H2H.

I hope so. Michelle is a PhD, but not the best picker of talent. This gives her a building block for several years while I have Hader and Hendricks (would that be a law firm or accounting?) for two years. Now the goal is a decent SP and another bat.

Now, if the season starts on time, we will be good to go. Hopefully, I'll have better results than last year.

I got the big fish--Garritt Cole.

Cole and Hyun Jin Ryu for Christian Yelich and a draft pick worth roughly #100. I am almost sorry I picked up Ryu too, because another manager threw a whole staff back in during keeper declarations. This is where I sit now.
