6x6 keeper, but only Ponce de Leon is a keeper whom we won't keep, so this is a deal between two teams going for the flag this year. He needed pitching badly, good on offense; we're good on pitching and needed a top bat. Win win, I hope?
WE GAVE: MadBum and Hendricks.
WE GOT: Judge and Ponce de Leon.
Now, we can try to flip an OF like Pence, Benintendi and/or Buxton for a back end SP if we want, but bottom line we still retained our top 3 SP—Max, Verlander and Boyd, and hoping Happ chips in some W's and K's; could also pick up Pineda who is still inexplicably out there—and got a major 5-category bat in Judge. OF is now Judge, Blackmon, Betts, D.Santana...UTIL we can rotate between Benny, Pence, Buxton, Dyson (SB).
